Reliable tornado records have been kept since 1950.  The following maps are for the period 1950-2014 and will be updated to include 2015 and 2016 soon.  Why isn't there a map for F5 tornadoes in Arkansas?  We have not had one since 1929, which is well outside of the period mentioned above.  As a matter of fact, Arkansas is the ONLY state in the central United States not to have an F5 tornado since 1950.  Most of our twisters are on the low end of the EF scale.  Less than 2% are rated EF-4.
