Record Cold Possible

This is happening a lot in April over the past few years. Guidance still has a very strong cold front moving through the state Tuesday with a remarkable temperature gradient. There COULD be enough moisture in the cold air to produce a little snow in the higher elevations of northern Arkansas. Remember, this is April so little to no impacts and this will be very brief. The big weather story next week will be the cold and the possibility for a frost/freeze, especially Wednesday morning.
10 day rainfall does not look promising. There is some, but for the end of April, this is well below average. As you know from previous blog posts, this concerns me for the upcoming summer.
