Heavy Rain PLUS Coolest Air So Far This Season

Our stretch of fairly quiet weather is coming to an end as it typically does this time of year. The front bringing the big change late this week may have a plume of moisture from the remnants of a tropical system in the east Pacific. This will enhance rainfall amounts. At this time, it appears the target area will be the northwestern portion of the state, but that could change.




Watch the blue and green area off the west coast of Mexico. That moisture gets entrained into our late week system and that could result in areas of heavy rainfall.

Next weekend may REALLY put you into a good mood, if you love fall. Highs will be in the 60s and 70s and lows in the 40s and 50s.
