Fall Color Trouble?

In the blink of an eye, we have dried up considerably from the wet spring and summer. While this is typically the driest time of year, the excessive heat and prolonged dry conditions are taking a toll on some trees. Have you noticed the early leaf drop as some oaks appear stressed?


Fall is Arkansas is huge for all of us including state tourism dollars as many come here to enjoy the vibrant colors in October and November.


I had a chance to talk to Jim Robbins with the U of A Division of Agriculture about the possible effects.
