Chilling Out! Freeze Coming

I fully expect freeze warnings this weekend for most of the Channel 7 viewing area. A strong push of arctic air will work into the central United States. Temperatures should moderate a bit by the beginning of next week, then another strong blast of cold air should arrive Tuesday into Wednesday. While it's still in the long range, Wednesday the 14th could be VERY cold. It could be cold enough to make snow for the first time this season. I have been busy gathering equipment and testing it out so I hope I'm ready to go at that point. We are continuing to work on a contest and you can win your own snow machine. Stay tuned for that.

Beyond next week, I see temperatures moderating for awhile. In other words, this cold blast will not lock and hold.

RIGHT ON SCHEDULE! FREEZING TEMPERATURES WILL ARRIVE CLOSE TO THE AVERAGE FIRST FREEZE.

THE FOLLOWING FORECAST LOW TEMPERATURES ARE FROM THE OVERNIGHT RUN OF THE OPERATIONAL EUROPEAN COMPUTER MODEL.
